A number of reports had suggested the Dutchman will be
out of action from anywhere between four to six weeks, but the manager says
that is simply "wrong information"
Manchester United boss David Moyes is cautious to put a
date on Robin van Persie's return from injury but has rubbished reports that he
will be out until March.
The striker has started just one game in all competitions
since scoring the winner against former side Arsenal on November 10.
Reports in some quarters had
suggested Van Persie could face a further six weeks on the sidelines, but Moyes
insists that is not true: "I don't know where that has come from. That
would be wrong information as far as I am concerned."
