Falconets coach Peter Dedevbo drops six players

Falconets coach Peter Dedevbo has dropped six players from the team's camp as preparations for the 2014 Fifa Under-20 Women's World Cup in Canada heats up.

According to a statement made available by the team's Media Officer, Elizabeth Kah, the six players were sent home for failing to meet the expected standards.

The affected players are Sidi Ajibola of FC Robo Lagos, Lilian Tula (Taraba Queens), David Florence (Tewo Queens Oyo), Uchegbo Chidinma (Yaba Queens Lagos) and Ayomide Ojo of Police Team Lagos. 

While Fasilat Adeyemo was decamped for her failure to report three weeks after camp resumed.

In a related development, Olarenwaju Wemimo Oni from Ondo State has been appointed as assistant coach of the team, to help bolster the technical crew.
