Thiago Silva should be fit for the first leg of Paris
Saint-Germain's Champions League quarter-final tie with Chelsea despite
fracturing his cheekbone.
The Brazilian suffered the injury during PSG's clash with
Lorient on Friday, but surgery is not needed and as a result he could be in
contention for next week's home fixture against the Blues.
"He will not require surgery. The length of his
absence will depend on the evolution of the pain he is suffering over the next
few days," said a statement on PSG's official website.
"He should be available for the Champions League
quarter-finals," it concluded.
