Super Eagles left back Juwon Oshaniwa has ahead of
Nigeria’s second AFCON 2015 qualifying match against South Africa dismissed the
notion of being the favourites based on previous meetings with the Bafana
Bafana of South Africa.
Oshaniwa that there are no more push-over teams in
football and that the utmost concern for
him is the team going to South Africa to do what they know how to do best.
“There are no push-overs again in the world of football
but that’s just me. My ultimate concern is about my own team, my own ability
and the team’s as well so that we can go to South Africa and do our best”
The Super Eagles will face the Bafana bafana on the 10th
of September in Cape Town. Nigeria will embark on getting its defence of the
AFCON title back on track despite the future of Stephen Keshi as national team
coach still uncertain. Coach Shakes Mashaba will try to make it two wins out of
two after his historic victory in Khartoum against Sudan.
