Joseph Yobo has expressed his disappointment at Nigeria's
failure to open with a victory against Iran on Monday.
The Super Eagles laboured to a 0-9 draw against the
Asians, putting their hopes of advancement in danger, and the Nigeria captain
admitted that it was a big disappointment.
"I am gutted," Yobo told KickOffNigeria, com.
"This was one of the games we had marked down to win so it's a big
disappointment that we did not do it."
However, the Nigeria captain said the team would have to
take the positives and use it for the next game.
"We have to look at the positives. We did not
concede a goal, we dominated the game and we got a point.
"Those are the things we should take and improve on
for the next game."
The squad flew immediately back to their base in Campinas
to begin preparations to meet Bosnia-Herzegovina.
