News Update :

Osaze can't wait for Eagles home-coming

Friday, 9 May 2014

Stoke City striker Osaze Odemwingie says he can't wait to re-join the Super Eagles after being recalled to the squad.

The striker has been in the cold for nearly two years after a disagreement with coach Stephen Keshi, but says he is now chomping at the bit.

"I am very pleased that I have made the squad and can't wait to re-join the team again," he told the Stoke City Player.

"I spoke to the Nigeria manager last week and things looked good so I was hoping I would be called cup and I am delighted that this is the case.

"I have to thank everybody at Stoke, I knew I would come here and score goals. The quality in this team shows that it would match my game and I have rediscovered the form I was in when I first came to England.

"I really enjoy it here and hopefully, my good form can continue with the national team as well."
