Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi to look at 40 players

Stephen Keshi is expected to submit a list of 40 players to the NFF soon that he would like to look at and then he will send a a list of 30 players to Fifa before May 13 before the final 23 are chosen for the Super Eagles’ 2014 World Cup campaign in Brazil.

The Fifa deadline for the final list of 23 players for all countries participating is June 2, ahead of the tournament which kicks-off on June 12.

Nigeria will face Iran, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Argentina in Group F.

The Super Eagles will face Scotland in London on May 28 in a friendly international and then will head off to the United States where they will have a pre-World Cup training camp and will play two warm-up matches. 

Nigeria's opponent for the June 3 friendly has not been announced but they will face the USA on June 7 in Jacksonville.

Nigeria arrive in Sao Paulo on June 11, a day before the start of the World Cup.
