Kurt Zouma secured a move to Chelsea at the end of
January, and it appears he simply cannot wait to join up with his new club.
He's currently back on loan at Saint Etienne, where he
took on PSG last night, ending up on the losing side as the champions won 2-0.
Prior to the game he was quizzed on his impending switch
across the channel, and spoke with clear enthusiasm about his dream switch.
The centre-back told Canal+ that the signing was an
emotional one for him and his family.
He said: "My parents at first were shocked, they
were very happy for me, and I was also very happy. It was very emotional,
especially when I signed, my mother burst into tears."
The defender went onto say indicate that Chelsea were
always the club for him, although he still can't comprehend how real it is
going to be.
"For me to get to sign with the Blues is a great
honor for me, especially wearing the color blue, it's nice.
"Since I was little is my favorite color! Before I
had Chelsea on the Playstation, now I have them in real life I hope. I even had
Mourinho on the phone, it was a big shock for me!"
