Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco feels that he should
be granted more time on the pitch, but is still happy to see his other
team-mates do well.
The 27-year-old has scored just once in his 11 Serie A
appearances for the Bianconeri this season and has become a second choice to
new Juve forwards Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente, who arrived at the
beginning of the current season.
Giovinco spoke to TuttoSport about his place in the
Juventus squad and his goals for the remainder of the season, while also
commenting on the arrival of Pablo Osvaldo during the January transfer window.
“I’m worth more than the 320 minutes I’ve played in the
league this season,” said the Italian international. “But those who are chosen
ahead of me are doing very well.
“Tevez? Carlos’ arrival hasn’t stopped my career at
Juventus.
“Osvaldo? When he arrived, I wasn’t asked any questions.
“Now I only think of finishing this season the best I
can. The campaign isn’t over, I want to pull something out of this final
stretch.”
