Manchester United transfer target Marco Reus has taken a
slight dig at his former and current teammates Mario Gotze and Robert
Lewandowski by saying he wouldn’t join Bayern Munich because money isn’t
everything.
Gotze joined Bayern last season whilst Lewandowski has
just agreed a five-year deal to join the German and European champions at the
end of the season.
Reus has been heavily linked with a Premier League switch
with United but has suggested he could repel all offers by saying he will not
be dragged into a move for money, the Mirror reports.
"I wish luck to Lewa and Gotze, but Bayern will
never have me. Money is not everything," he said.
The German international is the heart and soul of the
current Dortmund squad and it would devastate Jurgen Klopp’s team should he
depart in January or the summer.
Reus has netted eight times in the Bundesliga this season
with Dortmund struggling to keep up the pace with rivals Bayern, currently 12
points off top having played a game extra.
