Juventus have officially announced that they have signed
a deal with adidas International Marketing BV.
The deal means that from the 2015-16 season, Adidas will
be the kit and technical sponsors of Juventus.
Adidas will maintain this role for a six year period,
with the contract expiring in 2021-22 season and the company will be in charge
of merchandising and licensing for Juventus.
Since 2003, Juventus have received technical sponsorship
from American sports company Nike.
However, with that contract set to expire in 2015, Adidas
have will now enter sponsorship with The Old Lady.
Currently, only AC Milan are currently sponsored by
Adidas in the Italian top flight.
Juventus have won the past two Serie A seasons as well as
the 2011-12 Coppa Italia and 2012 and 2013 Supercoppa Italiana.
