Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella could be moving to
English Premier League this summer, according to Tuttosport.
The Italy international has been deemed surplus to
requirements in Turin and he is currently considering his options.
While La Liga clubs are also showing interest in his
services, English Premier League appears to be the most likely destination for
the 30-year-old.
Norwich are believed to be keen on Quagliarella, and
after offering €6.5 million for the striker, boss Chris Hughton even visited
the player in Juventus’ training centre to try and persuade him to join the
Canaries.
That deal is currently on hold after the Premier League
side agreed to sign Gary Hooper from Celtic, but Norwich could try and sign the
Italian regardless.
Meanwhile, Southampton are also keen on the player who
has bagged 9 goals in 27 Serie A matches last term as they continue their
search for a new centre forward.
