Napoli are set to make a €25 million bid in an attempt to
sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti.
The Partenopei have made the headlines this week after
signing Gonzalo Higuain and Pepe Reina, but it appears as though owner Aurelio
De Laurentiis does not want to stop there.
Along with Porto’s Jackson Martinez, the Partenopei are
set to make a €25m bid in an attempt to bring Verratti back to the Serie A
according to alfredopedulla.com.
With the Italian struggling to come to terms on a new
contract with the French side, Napoli are hoping their offer will lure the
Pescara native back to the peninsula for the upcoming season.
Verratti impressed for the Paris club last season, making
27 appearances for the Ligue 1 side after a €12.5m move from Pescara.
