Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama returned to
France to join up with his Lique 1 outfit,Lille and expressed his readiness to
win the heart of new Lille manager,Rudi Garcia.
Enyeama joined the former French champions two seasons
ago but after finding playing time hard to come by in his first season,he
decided to return to Israel to pitch tent with Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
"I am always very happy to return to Lille,to be
part of the pre-season work-out and the opportunity of meeting the good people
here," he enthused in an interview on the club's official website.
“I love this place (Lille). It is a pleasure to be here.
Last season was successful for me. I won
the championship in Israel and the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria before
participating in the FIFA Confederations Cup. All these bring strong memories for me, " he
posited.
The former player of Hapoel Tel Aviv will be looking to
impress new coach, Garcia after the coach declared recently that he wants to
look at all the players critically before making his final decision on who will
stay or who will move away from the club before the transfer window closes next
month- the opportunity the Nigerian wants to seize at the moment and make a
difference.
