Super Four postponed by League Management Company.

The League Management Company has postponed this year's edition of the Super Four indefinitely.

The not too attractive end of season tournament was supposed to kick-off on October 29, but it has been shifted been shifted indefinitely to yet to be disclosed date.

The Glo Premier League resumed with Week 36's round of games, and there were some eye-catching results.

Enyimba have cut Kano Pillars lead on the Glo Premier League standings to just one point after beating visiting ABS FC 1-0 in Aba, courtesy of a goal scored by Andrew Abalogu in the 66th minute, against his former employers.

The newly promoted club are becoming the revelation of the season alongside El Kanemi Warriors after they beat Enyimba on Sunday to return to the top of the NPFL

The Restoration Boys beat the erstwhile league leaders Enyimba 1-0 to take up their position on the log at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa on Sunday.

Bayelsa’s Uche Ihuarulam's 17th minute goal proved to be the difference. Ladan Bosso’s side now have 55 points from 33 matches while the Peoples Elephant are three points behind in fourth with 52 points from 32 games. Bayelsa United could hold on to top spot if they beat neighbours Nembe City on Wednesday. The first leg result ended 2-0 in the league leaders’ favour. Enyimba will be praying for a slip in Yenagoa when they host Akwa United at Aba on Wednesday also in Matchday 34 clash.

Enyimba Down Wikki 2-0, Depose Pillars on Top

Federation Cup champions Enyimba, have usurped League title holders Kano Pillars from the top of the Globacom Premier League table after defeating Wikki Tourists 2-0 inside the Aba Township Stadium in a week 32 clash on Wednesday.

Goals from Ifeanyi Ede and Josiah Maduabuchi saw Enyimba who are yet to concede a goal or defeat at home, inflict more misery on Wikki as they are now bottom of the table with 39 points from 32 games.

With the result, Enyimba with a game in hand, are now on 52 points, same as Bayelsa United,  but edge it on goals difference.

The Lobi Stars striker is not bothered they will play the Elephants in the semi finals of the Federation Cup

Lobi Stars striker, Anthony Okpotu has told Goal that Enyimba cannot stop them from playing in the finals of the Federation Cup.

The Makurdi side defeated Akwa Starlets 2-1 in one of the quarter final matches played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Wednesday to set up a date with the Aba giants in the semi finals.

Okpotu revealed that if there is one team Enyimba will be afraid of, it is Lobi Stars. "This is not an empty boast. We know how to beat Enyimba and this match will not be an exception," he declared.
