Super Four postponed by League Management Company.
The League Management Company has postponed this year's
edition of the Super Four indefinitely.
The not too attractive end of season tournament was
supposed to kick-off on October 29, but it has been shifted been shifted
indefinitely to yet to be disclosed date.
The Super Four trophy is usually competed for by the four
highest placed teams in the League, meaning the likes of; Kano Pillars,
Enyimba, Bayelsa United and El Kanemi Warriors will feature in this year's
edition of the competition whenever it is played.
Kano Pillars are expected to be officially presented with
their Glo Premier League trophy on the opening day of the Super Four.
Heartland are the current Super Four champions, but the
Owerri-based club will not be able to defend their crown as they failed to
qualify for the current edition of the competition after finishing poorly at
the end of the Glo Premier League.
