Mesut Ozil has thanked the medical staff at the
rehabilitation centre in Germany where he has been receiving treatment for a
hamstring injury.
The German star was given permission by Arsenal boss
Arsene Wenger to receive treatment in his homeland after suffering the injury
during Arsenal's 1-1 Champions League draw with Bayern Munich last month.
Ozil wrote on his Facebook page:
"Many thanks to my whole rehab team and the medics.
Thanks for your support.
"Nevertheless, I don't hope to see you that soon
again - at least not in the rehab."
Ozil will now return to England to step up his bid for
fitness at London Colney.
Arsene Wenger has said he does not expect his record
signing to be available for selection until after the Gunners play West Ham at
the Emirates on April 15.
