Ladan Bosso has joined newly-promoted Abia Warriors FC
after leaving Bayelsa United following disagreements with the management of the
Yenagoa-based club.
Bosso helped Bayelsa United qualify for the CAF
Confederation Cup, after leading them to a third placed finish last season. But
the former Flying Eagles coach however decided to part ways with the
continental campaigners as a result of the refusal of the management of the
club to offer him a valid contract for the new season.
Newly-promoted Abia Warriors have now appointed the
former Kano Pillars and Wikki Tourists gaffer as their Technical Adviser, after
reaching an agreement with the tactician.
The club however made it clear that the appointment of
Bosso does not in any way conflict with the job of recently appointed Emeka
Ezeugo, as the latter was only appointed as the Chief Coach of the team, and
not the Technical Adviser.
Bosso who was spotted at the team's training camp on
Wednesday is expected to take full charge of the team as the approach the final
stages of their preparation for the new season which kicks-off on March 7.
