Three players have been sent packing from the Super
Eagles camp as Stephen Keshi continues to prune Nigeria's squad for the African
Nations Championship (Chan).
The three players who were asked to exit the Bolton White
Hotel camp of the national team on Thursday are; Kingsley Onome of Sunshine
Stars, Bello John Ikeleji of Bendel Insurance and Eric Kwame of Plateau United.
The team is expected to undergo more pruning after
Saturday's friendly game with a select side in Port Harcourt, and Monday's
final preparatory game against Glo Premier League champions Kano Pillars.
In a related development, the medical team of the Super
Eagles have have assured the technical crew that injured Kano Pillars striker
Mohammed Gambo will recover in time before the commencement of the Chan
tournament.
Gambo has been out with a hamstring problem, recovered
last week but there was a relapse in the course of the week which forced him
out of Thursday's morning training.
