The defender cannot play in official matches until
January, so will face the Swiss side in a friendly game during the
international break.
AC Milan are planning to hand defender Adil Rami his
first match in the club's colours in a friendly game against Young Boys in Bern
on November 16.
The 27-year-old stopper has already been training with
the San Siro side for over two weeks after joining on loan from Valencia, where
he fell out with coach Miroslav Djukic.
Milan also have an option to sign the 27-year-old on a
permanent basis but cannot use him in competitive matches until the transfer
window and registration period re-opens in January.
Rami is struggling for match fitness having only played
four games - three in La Liga and one in the Europa League - for Valencia early
in the season and the club want him sharp to hit the ground running in the New
Year.
Therefore, assuming he does not pick up an injury before,
Massimilano Allegri's side are eyeing the friendly against Young Boys as an
ideal opportunity to give him a first run out while many of the club's
first-team players are away on international duty.
Once Rami is playing regularly in 2014, Milan have said
they are looking to loan out Colombian defensive prospect Jherson Vergara so he
can pick up some first-team experience.
