News Update :

De Bruyne advised to leave Chelsea for Schalke

Wednesday, 13 November 2013

Chelsea youngster Kevin De Bruyne has been advised by his national team manager Marc Wilmots to leave the club and sign for Schalke.

The Belgian international is a highly rated prospect in European football, though he has not managed to become a regular at Stamford Bridge this season.

This has led to some concerns that he will not be fit and ready to be a part of Belgium's squad for next summer's World Cup, and his manager feels he should move in order to play first-team football, according to Sport Bild.

Having spent last season on loan in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen, a return to Germany could be on the cards, as Schalke are among the clubs interested in taking him on.

A loan move seems likely again, though it is not clear if Chelsea would consider selling the attacking midfielder
