Chelsea youngster Kevin De Bruyne has been advised by his
national team manager Marc Wilmots to leave the club and sign for Schalke.
The Belgian international is a highly rated prospect in
European football, though he has not managed to become a regular at Stamford
Bridge this season.
This has led to some concerns that he will not be fit and
ready to be a part of Belgium's squad for next summer's World Cup, and his
manager feels he should move in order to play first-team football, according to
Sport Bild.
Having spent last season on loan in the Bundesliga with
Werder Bremen, a return to Germany could be on the cards, as Schalke are among
the clubs interested in taking him on.
A loan move seems likely again, though it is not clear if
Chelsea would consider selling the attacking midfielder
