Spanish national team and Barcelona midfielder, Andres
Iniesta recently spoke about the infusion of youth into the squad called up for
Wednesday’s friendly against Ecuador and feels Real Madrid’s newest
acquisition, Isco has a bright future at the club and international level.
Joined by Real Madrid goalkeeper, Iker Casillas, Iniesta
spoke about the upcoming friendly and the difficult test Ecuador will pose.
“Ecuador have Spain well studied. Ecuador are highly
ranked by FIFA and I’m not expecting an easy game.”
Iniesta then moved on to newcomer, Isco and feel’s the
U-21 star will thrive at Real Madrid and is an important part of Spain’s
future.
“[Isco] is a player who in a short space of time has
shown extraordinary talent and quality and I hope he keeps getting better. He’s
doing great now, but in the future he’s going to be an important player for
Spain and for Real Madrid.”
