AC Milan Have Offer For Bayern Munich Striker Turned Down

Sunday, 11 August 2013

AC Milan have had an offer for Bayern Munich striker Claudio Pizarro turned down, according to reports.

The Rossoneri are reportedly in the market for a striker as a short-term stop gap while Giampaolo Pazzini recovers from injury.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan had a loan offer for the Bayern forward denied.

It is believed that Milan consider Pizarro a viable alternative to Mario Balotelli while Pazzini remains unfit.

The Peruvian striker rejoined Bayern in 2012 after leaving a six-year stint with the German club in 2007, and has appeared in 20 games since his return, scoring six times.
