Valencia: I spend a lot of extra time working on my crossing

Tuesday, 31 December 2013

Antonio Valencia has insisted that he spends a lot of time working on his crossing and does extra practice with David de Gea in order to improve.

The 28-year-old has shown positive signs this season he can work his way back to his devastating best but as of yet, his crossing has still been pretty terrible on the whole.

In his pomp, every cross seemed to find the head of a team-mate (mainly Rooney) but nowadays Valencia’s final ball has been frustratingly poor. He has clearly been working on improving behind the scenes and he certainly needs to.
