Manchester United have their sights on German pair Marco
Reus & Ilkay Gundogan. Manchester United face stiff competition Ilkay
Gundogan.
United boss David Moyes' midfield search has led him to
considering the BVB ace, who is available from the Bundesliga giants.
The Daily Mail says United have been tracking the German
for some time and were close to making an offer in the summer. The biggest
hurdle they may face is that Real Madrid also want the combative midfielder.
His availability in January could depend on his recovery
from a persistent back injury and whether Dortmund lose out to Arsenal and
Napoli in their Champions League group.
Whereas Marco Reus has a £29.3 Million Buyout Clause in
his contract. Which Manchester United are willing to meet. United consider Reus
good value for money because he scores and assists in double figures every
season.
United will pay £20.7 Million for Gundogan & £29.3
for Marco Reus in order to secure the deal. They have been talks of a swap
between Reus & Shinji Kagawa. But it looks unlikely as Kagawa wants to
prove himself in the Premier League.
