John Barnes believes Liverpool would be better served by
selling Luis Suarez as soon as possible rather than let the transfer saga
rumble on.
Suarez has made no secret of his desire to move away from
Anfield and he is pressing to be allowed to speak to Arsenal after the Gunners
tabled a £40,000,001 offer.
Liverpool have repeatedly stated that the striker is not
for sale, but Barnes is worried that their stance could go against them with time running out to
recruit a replacement.
