ENTER.... LUIS SUAREZ by Biola Omowanle

Monday, 18 August 2014

Now that Luis Suarez has been cleared by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) to start training with his new Barcelona team-mates, the Catalan Giants can finally see their man in Blue and Scarlet as he’ll be unveiled on Monday,18th August 2014,on occasion of the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Mexico’s Club Leon.

The 27-year-old is eligible to feature as he is now free to enter stadiums and play in non-competition friendly matches with his new club (Huge relief for Barcelona fans and lovers).

There are so many talking points regarding this issue, so many questions on the lips of football lovers. What improvement could Luis Suarez possibly bring to the Spanish Giants after an unimpressive performance last season? Would he adapt to the tiki taka style of play the club is known for? Are Barcelona losing their values by signing such a controversial player? Would his presence compensate for the exit of the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas? The questions are endless!

Zlatan Ibrahimovic urges Barcelona star Lionel Messi to join PSG

Monday, 30 December 2013

Lennon slams ´weak´ Celtic

Thursday, 12 December 2013

Manager Neil Lennon blasted Celtic following their "weak" 6-1 UEFA Champions League thrashing at Barcelona on Wednesday.

Lennon was furious as Celtic not only suffered a fifth defeat from six Group H matches, but also embarrassment at Camp Nou.

The Scottish champions – who reached the last 16 last term before being bundled out by Juventus – were six points off reaching the knockout stage in this year's competition and finished their campaign on a dramatic low.

Neymar scored a hat-trick for Barcelona, while Gerard Pique, Pedro and Cristian Tello were also on the scoresheet, leaving Lennon questioning the character of his side.
