News Update :

DEAR STEPHEN KESHI!!! PART 1

Saturday, 7 June 2014

The Biggest Football Competition in the world starts in few days and so many questions from patriotic fans on the streets of Nigeria. Stephen Keshi needs to answer most of these questions and criticisms not by mouth but on the pitch. USA is next on the menu.

Dear Keshi, we know Nigeria is the African Champions but our failure to perform on the biggest stage yet again will be disastrous. The shambolic performances of the players at the Confederation Cup in Brazil is lingers in people’s heart. We need good performances at the World Cup at least.

Dear Keshi, we know you are a man-manager, perhaps, Slave driver – can you please do more work on the bench warmers from their respective clubs. For example, Victor Moses, John Obi Mikel and other suspects. We need 110% performance from these players.

Dear Keshi, we’ve seen Austin Ejide against Scotland as well Vincent Enyeama against The Greeks, can we have a feel of what our 3rd choice goalkeeper (Chigozie Agbim) can do in goal. I don’t want to think of a scenario where the two best keepers will be injured.

Dear Keshi, i don’t want to believe some reports in the media about a ghost player in the team Juwon Oshaniwa. Elderson Echejile was injured against Greece and most Nigerians believed Juwon will come on but BOOM – we saw a centre defender – Kunle Odunlami. Can we see Juwon Oshaniwa against USA? Please!!!

Dear Keshi, i think most Nigerians knew the reason behind the inclusion of Joseph Yobo in the team – It’s all about the 100 caps but please, Yobo don’t have a place in the starting line up. He can still win the 100caps as substitute in the group stages.

Dear Keshi, Can Joseph Yobo or Ogenyi Onazi be the main backup for Efe Ambrose in the team? It’s obvious that Kunle Odunlami can’t fit in at right back. Just saying!

Dear Keshi, the synergy that Sunday Mba, Ogenyi Onazi and John Mikel showed under your tutelage was fantastic but one of the jigsaws has been dropped (Mba). So Mr Keshi, how can we have that compact midfield again. Is it Micheal Babatunde or out of position – Osaze Odemwingie? I believe Ramos Azeez should be brought into the mix.

Dear Keshi, we saw Musa against Greece and he showed he was out of form. Maybe Osaze can be brought back to his favourite left wing position.

Dear Keshi, as we all know – we have a Chicharito in our team (Uche Nwofor) but can we see him from the start against USA? Let us see what he can do as a starter.

Finally, i believe Nigerians want to see your tactical formation and a good performance against USA that can give us a glimpse of hope going to the World Cup. THE TRUE NAIJA SPIRIT.
