Inter midfielder Hernanes has admitted he is honoured to
have played with Nerazzurri teammate and club legend Javier Zanetti.
The iconic 40-year-old is set to retire at the end of the
season, and will feature in his final home game at the San Siro against Lazio
this weekend.
“I think talking about him is pointless, everybody knows,
everybody knows what a player he was and what a man he is,” Hernanes told Inter Channel.
“It has been a pleasure to meet him before he stopped
playing. It has been a pleasure to know him because he is a wonderful person.
“He has incredible strength, I say that there are men and
there are monsters and he is a monster.
