The week 11 games of the Glo Premier League were played
across various centres on Wednesday, here’s a quick review of the results.
Peter Ebimobowei and Ejike Uzoenyi both scored braces for
Bayelsa United and Enugu Rangers respectively as they latter lost 4-3 away to
the Restoration Boys of Yenagoa.
Sharks FC were held to a 1-1 home draw by visiting
Enyimba, as Crown FC were also held 1-1 at home by visiting Kano Pillars.
Nasarawa United, Kaduna United and Heartland FC all
scored from the spot to record 1-0 home wins over El Kanemi Warriors, Dolphins
FC and Giwa FC respectively.
Ubong Ekpai was amongst the goals for Akwa United as they
beat Warri Wolves 2-0 in Uyo, while Abia Warriors lost 1-0 away to FC Taraba.
Lobi Stars were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Sunshine
Stars, while the game between Gombe United and Nembe City was shifted after the
latter were involved in a minor auto crash on their way to honour the fixture.
