Glo PL wrap: Pillars, Abia win away

Week 12 games of the Glo Premier League were played across the country on Wednesday evening, and there were several interesting results with the away wins recorded by both Kano Pillars and Abia Warriors being the pick of the bunch.

Abdul Haruna scored twice to help Kano Pillars record a 3-2 away win over Gombe United. While Ifeanyi Onyeali was the hero for Abia Warriors as they thumped Bayelsa United 3-1 in Benin.

In Lafia, Mfon Udoh's late goal for Enyimba could not stop the People's Elephants from losing 3-1 away to Nasarawa United.

Heartland defeated Enugu Rangers 2-0 in the Oriental Derby played in Owerri, to record their third win of the season.

In Port Harcourt, Sharks came from behind to beat Giwa FC 2-1, while Dolphins nicked a point away from home as they drew 1-1 away to El Kanemi Warriors. 

Akwa United were held to a 0-0 draw by visiting FC Taraba in Uyo. But there was a rain of goals in Kastina-Ala as Lobi Stars recorded a 4-3 home win over Warri Wolves.

Kaduna United recorded a 3-0 win over visiting Nembe City, while Crown FC won 2-1 at home against Sunshine Stars.
