WOW!!! Where should I even start from? So much to share from the massive and one of a kind event in Lagos – the Media Conference of the Heineken Trophy Tour.

Like a normal human being, I woke up around 5:14am to another beautiful day, prayed before I left my bed and immediately after my prayers, I rushed to my laptop to post the Trending Sports News making the headlines that morning for my ever reliable and wonderful readers as well as followers. *winks* (I love you guys)

As at 7:13am, I had already finished posting all the Sports News I believe will be interesting and worth reading for my followers. (I am a damn fast blogger)

DANG!!! It was time to give myself nice curves – Curves to my Sexy Afro, Beards shaped like Pires (Arsenal Legend) and moustache like Herbert Macaulay (One of Nigeria’s Greatest Leaders). That was around 7:30am anyway.

Thank God I ironed my clothes the day before because there was no light that morning. Naija i hail ooo – you can disappoint person sha!

Flash of the light, I’m dressed up and ready to hit the ever busy Lagos roads. I wore a Branded White Polo of my Blog and I didn’t want to get stained, so I was so careful rushing the Danfos. (I pray this blog hustle will get me a car soon – help me say amen abeg).

I was so happy and privileged to have been picked by Synthesis Communications to cover the event as a Blogger – because they believe Sport Bloggers are the Voice of Sport Loving Nigerians.

9:53am – the Event started and all the Press Officials were ready for the event.

The anchor called Sunday Oliseh, Marketing Director NB - Walter Drenth, Global sponsorship Director Heineken - Hans Erik Tuijt and Corporate Media & PR Manager NB - Vindah Edem to the Sofa to educate and enlighten ‘WE’ the media about the importance and the major effect of the trophy tour on the brand as well as consumers/fans.

11:12am, Ruud Gullit, the brand ambassador stepped out from back stage to unveil the Most Prestigious Trophy in Club Football to the delight of the Press and kon see paparazzi ehn – flashes of cameras went on for close to 20minutes until WE were asked to calm down and sit down. Lobatan!

So many questions were asked from Ruud Gullit, the brand ambassador and our very own Ex Super Eagles Midfielder, Sunday Oliseh. I will just share two notable ones – a question from @PoojaBlog to Ruud and the other, Sunday Oliseh advices on the way forward for the CAF Champions League.

1. Question by @PoojaBlog for Ruud Gullit at the press briefing: Tell us one of your biggest experience playing in the UEFA Champions League and;

Ruud Gullit answered - My first major experience was playing for AC Milan, there was no group stage because only champions play it then and for me, one of the biggest experience playing Real Madrid at home and beating them 5-0 in the semi final and later on we won the final against Steau Bucharest 4-0 and people were saying it was because of the political problems in the country.

2. Sunday Oliseh points out on the way forward for the CAF Champions League, he says ‘he CAF Champions League needs better media coverage if it is to get anywhere near the mileage the UEFA Champions League currently’

And he also explained that advancements in the manner of TV coverage in Europe makes more fans to watch games even at home and such must be replicated in Africa in order to make progress.

And BOOM - That was all for the Media Conference and it was time for me to scavenge for the Legend and Top Sports Presenters in Africa. Shey me wey be upcoming blogger no go snap ni? *lol
