Juventus boss Antonio Conte will hold contract talks at
the end of the season, according to director Giuseppe Morotta.
Conte has won back-to-back Serie A titles since his
appointment at the Old Lady in 2011 and has received high praise for his
management of the Juventus side, who have become the dominant force in Italian
football.
The 44-year-old's current deal with the Turin club is set
to expire at the end of next season, leading Conte to be linked with various
other clubs.
Juve's fans have called for Conte, who made over 400
appearances for the club as a midfielder between 1991 and 2004, to be issued
with an extension and it appears that they will be granted their wish after
director Moratta insisted that the coach's future will be dealt with at the end
of the season.
"There are no problems or a distance between
us," Marotta told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"The relationship between Conte, the club, president
(Andrea) Agnelli and the board is optimum.
"Right now we are all focused on what would be an
historic victory, that is to win our third-straight Scudetto.
"We have decided to leave to one side talks of the
future and we will deal with that further ahead well aware that we have a great
coach with us.
