Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo says the Bundesliga is
currently the toughest in the world.
Gustavo has spent most of his professional career playing
club football in Germany and was even a member of the Bayern Munich team which
won the 2013 UEFA Champions League.
"I think it is the best league in the world,"
Gustavo told FIFA.com.
"Here every stadium is always full and the league is
strong. I think it is the best league in the world," continued Gustavo.
In August last year the defensive midfielder signed a
contract that would see him spend the next four years at Wofsburg and he wouldn't
have it any other way, despite countless speculation about him moving to the
Barclays Premier League.
"It's always nice when the top clubs are interested
in you," added Gustavo.
"But right now I'm here and I'm very happy. The
Bundesliga has become even better known in Brazil thanks to Bayern," added
the Brazilian star
