President-General of Nigeria Football and Other Sports
Supporters Club, Rafiu Ladipo, believes that the performance of the Super
Eagles in the African Nations Championship (Chan) has confirmed that Stephen
Keshi is currently the best coach in Africa.
Ladipo told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that Keshi, who
was adjudged as the 'Coach of the Year' at the Glo/CAF African Football Awards,
has justified the honour Keshi received at the recently concluded award.
He cited Nigeria's comeback from three-goals down against
the Atlas Lions of Morocco on Saturday as evidence of the mental and technical
strength of the former coach of Togo and Mali.
"Many coaches could have lost hope of recovery but
Keshi proved his worth when he rose to the challenge to emerge
victorious," Ladipo said after Saturday's game.
"His confidence motivated his boys to go ahead and
win the game in the second half to qualify for the semi-finals."
