Former AC Milan forward and youth team coach Filippo
Inaghi is expected to take over from the under-fire Rossoneri boss Massimiliano
Allegri.
The former Cagliari coach has been under pressure for
large parts of his tenure as Milan boss and the 4-3 loss to Sassuolo could be
his final game in charge.
Milan director Barbara Berlusconi told media following
the match that a “change is urgent” and Gazzetta dello Sport report that
Inzaghi could be brought in for the remainder of the season.
Inzaghi currently coaches the Allievi Nazionali,
Milan’s U-17 squad, a role he has
occupied since retiring from professional football at the end of the 2011-12
season.
