With Pepe Reina only on loan from Liverpool, Napoli are
eyeing Premier League goalkeepers Tim Krul and Asmir Begovic.
Reina has made it clear he will return to base at the end
of the season and likely then move on to Barcelona, so the Partenopei need
another shot-stopper for the future.
It’s reported Rafa Benitez is again looking towards the
Premier League for next year, as understudy Rafael lacks experience.
According to Il Mattino newspaper, the primary targets
are Newcastle United goalkeeper Krul and Stoke City’s Begovic.
Another option is Thibaut Courtois, but he is owned by
Chelsea and on loan at Atletico Madrid, so this would be a very difficult
transfer.
