games, and there were some eye-catching results.
Enyimba have cut Kano Pillars lead on the Glo Premier
League standings to just one point after beating visiting ABS FC 1-0 in Aba,
courtesy of a goal scored by Andrew Abalogu in the 66th minute, against his
former employers.
Warri Wolves suffered an upset at home as they lost 1-0
to Akwa United, whereas their former player, Marshall Onoriode was on the
scoresheet for Enugu Rangers as they beat Sharks FC 2-0 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe
Stadium.
Shooting Stars' relegation was finally sealed as they
lost 1-0 away to Nembe City, while Dolphins and Kaduna United recorded 1-0 home
wins against Lobi Stars and Bayelsa United respectively.
Victor Namo's 17th goal of the season gave Nasarawa
United a 1-0 home win over Sunshine Stars, while Heartland moved further up the
table after beating visiting El Kanemi Warriors 1-0 in Owerri.
Kwara United were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Wikki
Tourists, while Kano Pillars suffered a setback as they lost 2-1 to Gombe
United.
