Ronaldo hails Ancelotti impact

Monday, 5 August 2013

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has hailed manager Carlo Ancelotti’s impact on the Spanish club.

The Italian coach replaced Jose Mourinho earlier this summer and Ronaldo, who has reportedly signed a new deal at the Santiago Bernabeu, has been impressed by the fresh approach Ancelotti has brought to Madrid.

Ronaldo said: “We're very happy with the coach. We're training well and working to have the best possible start to the season. He's very friendly with the players and that's good for us.

"He's uncomplicated and a great boss. We want to learn from him.

"The trainer has different strategies and different positions for everyone. It's good for me to try to play in other positions and I'm very comfortable with him.

"We'll see where I play during the season. I'm not worried about the position, just the team."
