The oil tycoon refused to be drawn on speculation linking
the Cameroon international with the Nerazzurri, and says Sunday's clash with
Genoa will not be his last game at the helm.
Inter president Massimo Moratti has hinted that Anzhi
Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto'o could return to San Siro this summer.
Reports emanating from England on Sunday suggested that the
Cameroonian is set to be reunited with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, whom the
forward played under during his time at Appiano Gentile.
However, Moratti has suggested that Eto'o, who left Inter
for Anzhi in 2011, could yet rejoin the Nerazzurri.
"Eto'o? We'll see what happens next week," the
68-year-old oil tycoon told Sky Sport Italia.
The 68-year-old went on to claim Sunday's match with
Genoa would not be his last game as president at San Siro, in light of reports
that Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir is set to take control of the club
early next month.
"I don’t like saying that and I don’t think so,
anyway," the Nerazzurri supremo stated.
"Yes, I am emotional, but the way I always am before
an Inter match that starts the season. We haven’t reached an agreement yet.
"If we do, then that’s fine. If we don’t, then
nothing will be done. My desire is to do things properly, then we’ll see if
it’s enough."
Eto'o, whose current deal with Anzhi expires next summer,
scored 53 times in 102 appearances for the Nerazzurri.
