Kate Hudson Says Prince William and Harry Stayed in Her House as Kids

Kate has not met any member of royal family in London but she tells Jay Leno that Prince William, Harry and their mother once stayed in her family's house in Colorado.

Kate Hudson reveals unexpected connection to British royal family as she stops by "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". The daughter of Academy Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn tells Jay that Prince William and Harry once stayed in her family's house in Colorado. The "Nine" actress, however, was living in L.A. and completely missed the chance to meet them.

"Prince William and Prince Harry actually stayed at our house in Colorado when they were kids. I remember we were all in LA and they were staying with their mom [Princess Diana] at the time...and we get this phone call at the house," she said on Wednesday, July 31.

"And the phone rang, my dad [Kurt Russell] answers it, gets on the phone...sure enough, I think it was Prince William calling my dad to ask if he could use the ATVs, the four wheeler things," the mother of two explained. After the phone call ended, her father commented, "now that's a really well raised boy." The late-night talk show host later quipped, "If Prince William called me to ask if he could use one of my cars, I'd say, 'No effing way!' "

Jay Leno also asked if she followed news about the arrival of Prince William's first child, Prince George. "It was insane, actually. You can't help but follow it since it's on every news channel like that's all you saw... that was the longest labor on news. It literally was full coverage," Matthew Bellamy's fiance replied.
