The Swede believes his side are thriving under the extra
expectation placed upon them this season following their 2-1 win over Nantes.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists Paris Saint-Germain relish the
pressure of going into games as Ligue 1 champions.
Laurent Blanc's side have struggled in the first few
weeks of the season, drawing their first two domestic fixtures, but finally
recorded a 2-1 victory at Nantes on Sunday.
The Swedish striker is delighted with his side's improved
performance and says that he hopes to thrive under the extra pressure of
defending their title.
"This win is a real boost. We played better than in
our last game," he told the club's official website.
"We came here looking for the three points we
needed. The season is still very long.
"We are the champions and everyone wants to beat us.
But we love this pressure of being favourites."
The Parc des Princes outfit will hope to build on the
Nantes win when they face Guingamp at home next Saturday.
