Manager Roberto Martinez is looking to add to his
midfield options, after acquiring Joel Robles, Antolin Alcaraz and Arouna Kone
from his former club Wigan as well as Barcelona starlet Gerard Deulofeu.
Marrone, who only made 10 appearances last season, is now
next on the agenda for Martinez according to reports in Italy.
The 23-year-old saw his first-team action limited during
the last campaign due to the emergence of former Manchester United midfielder
Paul Pogba.
Juventus want £6m for Marrone and Martinez is keen to add
to his squad having lost out on Manchester City's Scott Sinclair who is set to
join West Brom on-loan.
Everton are also locked in talks with Manchester United
over the £23m departure of Fellaini.
Former Blues boss David Moyes is keen to bring the
Belgian international to Old Trafford after seeing his move for Cesc Fabregas
fail to materialise.
Fellaini in the past has admitted his desire to play for
a Champions League side having failed to qualify for the competition with the
Toffees.
The 25-year-old was part of the Everton pre-season tour
of America, but is expected to make his intentions clear on his return that he
would like to join the Premier League champions.
