The centre-back has expressed his interest in a move to
the Spanish champions, but added that he is happy with life at his current
club, too
Thiago Silva has admitted it would be a dream come true
to wear the Barcelona jersey, but has stressed he is happy at Paris Saint-Germain
at the moment.
The 28-year-old's agent recently invited the Catalans to
make a move for the Brazil international amid ongoing speculation that they are
keen to lure the defender away from his current club.
PSG have insisted they will not allow the centre-back to
leave, but Silva nonetheless remains interested in a move to Camp Nou.
"Every player dreams of playing for Barcelona. It
has always been my wish to play for a big club in Europe. I am happy at PSG at
the moment, though," the centre-back was quoted as saying by Globo
Esporte.
"I have told my agent not to pass on any interest
unless there is something concrete. It only distracts me, especially during the
league season.
"There was a lot of talk and speculation about a
move to Barcelona last year and that has continued now. Nothing has happened,
though, and I am calm about all the rumours."
Thiago Silva's contract with PSG runs until June 2017.
