Tamera Mowry Reveals She Has Only Slept With One Man

Tamera says in a radio appearance that she is 'religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity.'

"The Real" star Tamera Mowry has slept with one man only. The mother of one admits during an appearance on HOT97NY that she lost her virginity at the age of 29 to Adam Housley, who later became her husband.

"I don't know how to explain this. I'm religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity. You may not understand this [but] I did it, then I felt guilty, then I became celibate until I got married," she said.

Tamera added that she was not less experienced than others in terms of sex. The mother of one proudly pointed at herself after saying, "Guess who knew everything?" Tamera's co-star on "The Real", Adrienne Bailon, commented on Tamera's choice, saying, "Just because you only had sex with one person doesn't mean you're not a freak, and I think that that's a good thing."

She added, "I think people think that you could only be a freak by doing it with a bunch of people. You can be a freak and just be a freak with one person. That is beautiful and dope." During the interview, Tamera also talked about changing her surname.

"Well this is the way I see it, I've worked really really hard for Tamera Mowry. I will eventually change my name to be Tamera Housley, but I'll be Tamera Mowry-that's going to be my acting name," she said.

Tamera dated FOX contributor Adam Housley for six years before tying the knot in 2011. The couple welcomed their first child Aden in November 2012.
