The agent of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has
recommended that his client remain with the Spanish side and ignore any
potential move to Serie A despite interest from AC Milan.
Karim Djaziri was explicit when responding to suggestions
that the 25-year-old could join the Rossoneri this summer stating that there
was ‘nothing’ at the club for the French international.
“[Benzema should] stay in Madrid, there is nothing with
Milan and I have nothing to say.” Djaziri told Tuttomercatoweb.
After Carlo Ancelotti arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu to
coach the team increasing speculation that Marco Verratti and Zlatan
Ibrahimovic would follow him to the Spanish capital has seen Benzema’s future
at the club questioned.
However, with fellow attacker Gonzalo Higuain almost
certain to leave the Real Madrid this summer and Milan unlikely to have the
finances to purchase the fomer Lyon striker outright a move to the Serie A
giants seems doubtful.
