The birthday girl couldn't get her friends to visit her
at the rehab facility nor was she allowed to leave for dinner because of the
house's strict rules
Lindsay Lohan had a very low-key birthday this year. It
was so quiet that she reportedly didn't even get to celebrate it with her
friends. The only company she had on the special day allegedly was her longtime
lawyer Shawn Holley.
LiLo turned 27 on Tuesday, July 2 while she was still in
a court-mandated rehab stemming from traffic violations last year. The birthday
girl is currently undergoing treatment at Cliffside after transferring from the
Betty Ford Clinic last month.
According to TMZ, the troubled actress tried to ask
permission to have friends coming over for a low-key party at the rehab but
officials at the facility said no. Her request to go out for a dinner with her
friends was rejected as well.
According to the house policy, visitors are only allowed
to come on Sundays. Only lawyers have access to meet the patients throughout
the week.
A happy birthday greeting from her sister Ali Lohan at
least could cheer her up. "I love you to the stars and back #happybirthday
Lins," Ali tweeted along with a throwback picture of them with brothers
Mike and Cody.
Lindsay was ordered by a judge to 90-day lock down rehab,
30 days of community service and 18 months of mandated psychotherapy after
pleading no contest to lying to cops and reckless driving stemming from a 2012
car crash.
