The 'Heartless' hitmaker reportedly becomes a suspect in
a felony attempted robbery for trying to grab a paparazzo's camera.
Kanye West is under investigation following his physical
altercation with a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport Friday, July
29. TMZ reports the photographer wants to press charges, and the rapper has
been questioned by authorities. The case will be referred to the D.A. for a
possible prosecution as a felony attempted robbery, not a battery case.
Kanye got especially mad at one chatty camera man who
kept asking him questions, ignoring his previous warning not to talk to him.
"I told you don't talk to me, right? What you tryna do is get me in
trouble so I'll have to pay you like $250,000," the rapper said before
wrestling the guy in an alleged attempt to take his camera. Paramedics were
later called to the scene. Sources said there was no sign of immediate physical
injuries. Kanye was long gone when police arrived.
At the same airport, Kanye previously warned one
photographer, "I don't want to hear paparazzi talk to me or anybody I
know." He reached for the shutterbug's camera when his warning was
ignored. Later on "The Talk", Kris Jenner blamed sleep deprivation
for the new dad's violent outburst.
