AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed
that the club are in talks with Inter for defender Matias Silvestre.
Reports began to link Milan with the Argentine defender
following a dislocated kneecap to Daniele Bonera suffered over the weekend that
will keep him out for over three months.
“We’re in talks with Inter for Silvestre,” Galliani told
reporters.
“Now I will meet with the Inter directors to find an
agreement.
“We still haven’t agreed upon what kind of deal it will
be for Silvestre.”
He also went on to comment on the severity of Robinho’s
injury, who was also hurt in the match against Valencia.
“We’re counting on having Robinho ready for the Champions
League play-offs.”
The Milan vice-president then hinted at a possible
Rossoneri exit for 18-year-old French striker M’Baye Niang.
“If Niang leaves Milan then it won’t be before the
Champions League play-offs.”
