On Friday afternoon FIFA released information regarding
ticket information for the forthcoming FIFA World Cup in Brazil next year.
Tickets are not to be sold on a ‘first come first served’
policy, as applicants will have the opportunity to enter into random selection
draws.
The ticket prices differ greatly for Brazilians and
non-Brazilians, as Brazilians are able to purchase the Category 4 tickets.
Brazilian Students and older fans will be able to get
hold of tickets for as little as £9 for group games.
The cheapest tickets for overseas fans are Category 3
tickets, which cost a hefty £59.
For the World Cup Final, tickets for non-Brazilians start
at £290 with the most expensive tickets costing £650.
The sale of tickets begins on 20th August 2013.
